a west virginia based photographer of love + life

Photography is the way I notice things —
the tiny in-betweens that end up meaning everything.

But most of my days aren’t spent with a camera in hand…
they’re spent with my kids.
And honestly? That’s the most important work I’ll ever do.

Reflection of a woman and a child in a mirror, indoors, with a window showing a tree outside, and houseplants visible in the room.
A group of four children and one adult smiling and posing for a photo in a restaurant or party setting. The adult is wearing a wide-brimmed hat, and three of the children are holding coins. The background shows decorative lights, a fan, and a rustic interior decor.

Being their mom has taught me to slow down.
To see the magic in the messy.
To hold onto moments that slip by too quickly.

It’s why I photograph your family the same way —
with care, with tenderness,
with the belief that these days matter.

I live in the mountains of West Virginia
with my partner, Clay, and our three kids:
Luella, Mae, and Teo.

Our life is full of good friends, potlucks,
music in the kitchen, muddy shoes,
bike rides and trail walks —
the kind of everyday chaos that feels wild and beautiful all at once.

When I’m not with them, or behind the camera,
I’m usually nurturing our wellness brand, Headwaters Hemp.

But really, my heart always comes back to this:
honoring the love and connection that hold our days together.
